Our Company
Capital Jet Services, established in 1995 by CEO/owner Peter Van Dyk, is New Zealand’s premier full service Fixed Base Operator (FBO). We are based at Wellington International Airport in our own private, comfortable corporate aircraft terminal and hanger. Our FBO is fully approved by the New Zealand Customs and Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) Quarantine Service for international arrivals/departures direct from our FBO.
Capital Jet Services is New Zealand’s only FBO that has its own extensive network with our fully trained professional staff at Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown Airports. We also closely interact with our partner FBO in Auckland, Air Center One Ltd.
Capital Jet Services prides itself on our exceptional service and our commitment to our guests and we can attend to all your requirements no matter where in New Zealand you intend to travel. We are able to provide services to VIP, private and corporate aircraft and their operators.
Capital Jet Services has a Manager, Tony McFarlin, based in Christchurch who also has vast experience in the aviation industry.
In May 2014, Capital Jet Services established the only FBO at Queenstown Airport as a joint venture with Air Center One.
In August 2018, Air Center One exited the joint venture and Queenstown Corporate Jets is wholly owned by Peter Van Dyk of Capital Jet Services.
From starting out on his own, Peter Van Dyk, now has a staff of five in Wellington, with Tony McFarlin and his staff in Christchurch, plus seven staff in Queenstown.
